Was it really over a year ago that I posted on this blog? Discovering my content had been deleted (by whatever force, natural or not) put a damper on my desire to express my thoughts.
That and all the IT security briefs at my job that imply hordes of folks eager to discover the essence of me via my online musings... There's nothing like tales of identity theft, burglary, kidnapping, and even murder to damp the urge to express oneself openly.
Fear notwithstanding, I sometimes want to talk about something off topic. So I'll deposit such thoughts here. And if they disappear, then at least they lived in the world for a time. That's more than I can say for the words that never get written at all.
